Weekend in Rhinebeck

In celebration of my wife’s 30th birthday we took a trip to Rhinebeck for the weekend. Rhinebeck is a great place to escape to when you just need to get away. We stayed at a beautiful farmhouse that was built in the mid 1700’s, the Olde Rhinebeck Inn.
We were immediately greeted by the innkeeper, Jonna who made us feel right at home.

I don’t think I have ever been in a house this old. After making our way up a narrow staircase to our room we were blown away. Our room was beautiful with high ceilings with amazing wooden beams running its length.

If you want to stay within walking distance of the town of Rhinebeck then the Inn is not the right place for you. I personally prefer the quietness of staying just a few minutes outside of town. Walking out the door in the morning you are greeted by a beautiful old Barn and a small pond.

This was our 2nd trip to Rhinebeck and we will be returning at some point. I think we can both say without a doubt that The Olde Rhinebeck Inn will be our home when we do.
